For these young Putnam County Spelling Bee contenders, expectations and emotions are sky high as they spell their way to a coveted spot in the national finals in Washington, D.C., and to a greater understanding of themselves and the people who love them. A celebration of the differences in each of us, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is one great big hug of a show attesting to what we know so well—winning may not be everything, but it sure does feel good!
